Coinciding with the 75th Army Day, the troops of 19 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) constructed a house for a needy family residing in Laxapana. The new house was vested in the beneficiary on 16 July 2024 during a brief ceremony by the chief guest, Major General B.K.G.M.L Rodrigo RSP Psc IG, Commander of Security Force - Central, amidst Pirith Chanting.
This project was executed under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 19 SLNG. The General Officer Commanding of 11 Infantry Division, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
