Laying of foundation stone was done at the auspicious time on 11th of May 2024 for a house to be constructed by 12 Infantry Division for another needy family. Mr. Asanka Dilip Priyadarshana of 4 members with 2 children, lives in Viharamahadevipura Grama Niladari Division at Hambantota District is the beneficiary of this house. Mr. G. Korathota form Pannipitiya provided finical assistance for this meritorious work.
Maj Gen CS Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Staff Officers of 12 Infantry Division and 122 Infantry Brigade were present for the Event. Construction of the house will be undertaken by the troops of 12 GR.
