Troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central) coordinated another scholarship and donations distribution program in the premises of Haldummulla Sri Sudarshanaramaya Temple on Saturday, 18 February 2023. The program was organized on the conceptual guidance of Venerable Kahagolle Ananda Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Haldummulla Sri Sudarshanaramaya.
On the supervision of Major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSP USp ndu, Commander Security Force (Central), the troops provided assistance to distribute scholarships and stationery packs, each values Rs. 8,000.00, to a number of 220 school students residing in Haldummulla area in Badulla District. At the same venue, prizes and certificates for the skilled students in Dhamma School were also awarded simultaneously to the event that donated 5 wheel chairs for deserving personnel. The distribution and the donation were sponsored by local and foreign well-wishers.
Brigadier Admin & Quartering at Security Force Headquarters (Central) graced the event as the chief guest. Civil Affairs Officer, Senior Officers and Troops of the headquarters contributed in coordinating the program.
