The wild fire occurred in Kotugodella area in Haldummulla was controlled by the troops on 16 August 2020. The mentioned area is located within the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). Therefore, one officer and twenty six soldiers from this Headquarters rushed to place and controlled the fire on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP.
