Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP, Commander Security Forces (Central) made an official visit to 111 Brigade, 2(V) Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment, 10 Gajaba Regiment and Sri Lanka Rifle Corps which are under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central) on 09 and 10 July 2020 after the assumption of duties as the Commander, Security Forces (Central).
The visiting Commander was warmly welcomed by the Brigade Commander of 111 Brigade, Brigadier K A M N H Bandaranayake USP, the Commanding Officers of 2 SLSR, 10GR and SLRC, Major A M W P Abeyrathne, Major A J S Abeynayake RSP and Colonel R M H Jayathissa respectively. During the visit, the Commander planted a mango tree sapling in the camp premises of Sri Lanka Rifle Corps. After the troop address, SF Commander signed the Visitors’ Books marking his official visit to the under command Units.
In addition, the Commander visited the billet area of SLRC troops who are deployed in the Victoria Hydro Power Station.
