The rocks fallen from the mountain range beside the Ella – Kumbalwela main road obstructed the road on 27 October 2019 and it disturbed the transportation of the area. The affected area is located in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). Therefore, troops under command to 112 Brigade of Security Forces (Central) have taken a great effort toclear the blocked road.
Moreover, on the same day around 1830 hours the Badulla – Colombo main road was obstructed at Haputhale area due to collapsing of trees to the main road. The troops at Security Forces Headquarters (Central), took prompt actions to remove the fallen trees from the road in order to facilitate the transportation of the area.
