The wild fire occurred on 05 September 2019 in Digehenthenne area, Bandarawela was doused by the troops on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP VSV USP ndu. The affected area is located in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). A team consisting of one officer and twenty soldiers reached the place immediately and doused the fire completely.
