A Bodhi Pooja was organized by the military personnel of Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on account of Vesak Full Moon Poya Day on 29 April 2018 at Bodhi Kanda Temple - Diyatalawa at 0900 hours, with the instructions of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R S Dias USP ndc psc IG.
Ven. Haputale Meththananda Thero, delivered a Dhamma Sermon during the Bodhi Pooja and explained the importance of the Poya Day.
This Bodhi Pooja was organized by the troops of 2 (V) Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (2(V) SLEME) and Officers and Other Ranks of Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS) also participated in the Bodi Pooja.
