A Guard Turn Out and a Guard of Honour presented by troops of 9 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment in keeping with military traditions, saluted the out-going Commander Security Forces (Central) Major General AP de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc on 18 September 2016 in Security Force Headquarters (Central) camp premises - Diayatalawa.
All officers of SF HQ (Central), General Officers Commanding of 12 Division, 11 Division, Commandant Sri Lanka Military Academy, Brigade Commanders of 111, 112, 121 and 122 Brigades, Commanding Officers of affiliated Units and other under command units and other ranks of Security Force Headquarters (Central) were present at the ceremony.
Afterwards, the out-going Commander posed for a group photograph with all officers of Security Force Headquarters (Central), General Officers Commanding of 12 Division and 11 Division, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers of affiliated Units and other under command units and other ranks of the Security Force Headquarters (Central). Further, Major General Piyal Wickramaratne addressed all officers and thanked all for generous assistance and support extended to him during his tenure.
Afterward the Out-going Commander addressed all ranks and took part in a tea party organized at SF HQ (Central) camp premises.
