Development of individual and team professionalism of Army personnel are rapidly becoming a much-needed commodity in the present day career development of both senior and junior officers in the Sri Lanka Army in order to take up challenges in the future.
Initiating the first step, officers of 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps (SLRC) conducted their unit presentation on "ISIS, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" with the participation of Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc on 15 June 2016 at the Battalion Headquarters, 1 SLRC in Pallekale, Kandy.
The General Officers Commanding of 11 and 12 Divisions under the Security Force Headquarters (Central), Brigade Commanders of 111 Brigade, 121 Brigade and 122 Brigade, all Commanding Officers of under command Battalions of SF HQ (Cen) and staff officers within the Area of Responsibility actively took part in the presentation.
