CONSTRUCTIONS OF BAMBARAPANA SISILPAN KANDURA TEMPLE

Construction of the entrance to the temple and the retaining wall around Walimada Pitiyekumbura Bambarapana Sisilpan Kandura temple commenced under the supervision of 112 Brigade of the Security Force Headquarters (Central) on 16 May 2016.

Construction of the temple is being carried out by the troops of 3 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and the entrance to the temple and the retaining wall of the temple are now under constructions. Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc Commander Security Forces (Central) and Colonel DBSN Bothota RSP USP psc, Brigade Commander 112 Brigade paid a visit to the temple to observe the ongoing constructions of the temple on 02 June 2016
