YOUTH CENTRE WALLAWAYA TURNED INTO AN ICC

With the COVID 19 cases surging in many parts of the country, health officials are scrambling to find beds to accommodate the large number of patients who test positive on daily basis. Considering this urgent need, another Intermediate Care Centre (ICC) was opened on 09 May 2021 at the Youth Centre Wallawaya by 20 SLSR troops, as directed by the Commander Security Force (Central) Major General NR Lamahewage RWP RSP and the General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division Major General RADP Ranawaka RWP RSP USP.
