A sudden fire occurred in Uduhawara area in Walimada, located in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central) on 22 July 2018. Sooner the incident reported, the troops of 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) and 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry were tasked to control the fire on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG
Accordingly, one officer and ten soldiers reached the place immediately and doused the wild fire completely
