On the direction of Major General A L P S Thilakarathne RWP RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of 12 Division of Security Forces (Central) a shramadana campaign was conducted at Wedasiti Kanda in Kataragama on 15 January 2020. In order to make this sacred place more attractive since most of the devotees as well as the foreigners frequently visit the area, this shramadana campaign was conducted by the officers and the soldiers of 23 Gajaba Regiment and 3 Sri Lanka National Guards. All the participants were blessed by the Theros of the Wedasiti Kanda Viharaya for the contribution rendered to protect this ancient place. Request.
