TROOPS CLEANED THE COASTAL AREA OF HAMBANTOTA

As a result of the carelessness of the visitors who come to feel the beauty of this coastal area, the beach has lost its beauty. Therefore, with the intention of cleaning the Hambantota beach area, a cleaning programme was launched in accordance with a concept of the Commander of the Army. Accordingly, troops cleaned the Hambantota beach area on 21 September 2020 with the instructions of the Commander Security Force (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP. Further, the General Officer Commanding of 12 Division also participated in this programme along with the Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Division.
