TROOPS OF 18 GW CONSTRUCTED A WIRE FENCE FOR CHILDREN’S DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Coinciding with the 75th Anniversary of Sri Lanka Army, troops of 18th Battalion the Gamunu Watch constructed a protective barbed wire fence around the Madurakatiya Children’s Development Center premises on 07 September 2024

This was carried out under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 18 GW, Maj DAK Palihena, following instruction from the Commander 121 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier KGMN Senevirathna USP and with the concept of Commander Security Forces (Cen) Major General BKGML Rodrigo RSP psc IG and the guidance of General Officer Commanding 12 Infanty Division, Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc. Required materials were provided by Department of Probation and Child Care Service to successful completion of this project
