A religious ceremony was organized to distribute the parcels of nutrients as well as the equipments for babies for fifty three pregnant mothers. This charity campaign was held on 30 December 2019 at Sri Wajirarama Maha Viharaya in Mattala. This donation was organized under the patronage of the chief incumbent of Siri Jinarathanarama Viharaya in Udahamulla, Nugegoda, Ven.Kalavinne Dhammarakkitha Thero and other donors of the temple. Further, the troops of 122 Brigade provided the labour assistance on the instructions of the Brigade Commander of 122 Brigade of Security Forces (Central). On the same day the lunch was also offered for the pregnant mothers by the organizing committee and they extended their gratitude towards the military personnel for the contribution to make this event a success.
