A fire broke out at a store of a hotel called Hilton in Weerawila area on 13 August 2020. The mentioned area is located within the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). Therefore, six officers and thirty four soldiers from 122 Brigade rushed to the place and extinguished the fire on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP and the supervision of the Brigade Commander, Brigadier A H L G Amarapala RWP RSP. Further, three bowsers of water as well as the assistance of the Fire and Rescue Unit of Sri Lanka Air Force also had been utilized to control the fire.
