SUDDEN BUSHFIRE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL

A sudden bushfire occurred in Diyathalawa, Kaluambathenna area, was extinguished by the troops of 1 Gemunu Watch and police officers from Diyathalawa Police Station on 29 July 2021. Under instructions of Commander SFHQ (Central) Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu troops took prompt action to extinguish the bushfire after hard efforts.
