A sudden bushfire occurred in Bambaragala Kanda area, was extinguished by the troops of 112 Infantry Brigade on 27 July 2021. Under instructions of Commander SFHQ (Central) Major General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu 02 x 20 troops took prompt action to extinguish the bushfire after hard efforts.
