SFHQ (CENTRAL) ORGANIZED AN EXHIBITION ON NEW INNOVATIONS
In accordance with a concept of the Commander of the Army an exhibition of new innovations has been organized at the lecture hall of Security Forces Headquarters (Central) with the direction and supervision of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG on 24 July 2018.
The inauguration ceremony was taken place with the participation of the Commander Security Forces (Central) and other senior officers of the under command Divisions, Brigades, Units and other military establishments in the area.
Moreover, 19 new innovations had been exhibited at the exhibition and senior lecturers of Uva Wellassa University, Prof D K D D Jayasena and Dr E D N S Abeyrathne participated in the occasion in order to evaluate the creativity of the new innovations. The Students of the nearby schools also participated to witness this exhibition.
As per the evaluation of the panel of judges, under mentioned items were secured the first, second and third places.
First place - Vehicle engine injector nozzle tester - 10 CES
Second place - Sample Musical Mid Pad - 2 SLARC
Third place - Putty Cutting Machine – 112 Brigade
