SF COMD VISITS THE AFFECTED LOCATIONS IN THE AOR

Many areas of the island have affected due to the prevailing adverse weather condition and the same situation has badly knocked the civil life of the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). This disastrous situation has already taken four precious lives within the area of Security Forces (Central). Hence, with the mediation of military personnel, the relief operations are carried out in the affected areas. The Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP VSV USP ndu along with the Commanding Officer of 3 (V) SLSR, few officers and other ranks visited the area in order to witness the affected locations, specially, where the landslides occurred. In addition, the visiting Commander has looked into the matters pertaining to the relief and rescue operations.
