SF (CEN) TROOPS CONDUCT A CLEANING PROGRAMME IN THE HORTON PLAINS NATIONAL PARK

As per the request made by the Divisional Secretariat – Nuwara Eliya, troops of Security Forces (Central) conducted a cleaning campaign in Horton plains to remove invasive plants under the direction of Major General S.R.B Aluvihare RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces (Central) on 22 May 2024.

Coinciding with the International Day for Biological Diversity, 01 x 50 troops of 3 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment under the 11 Infantry Division conducted event with the participation of the Government and Non-Government Organizations, Private Sector Institutions, Youth Organization and University Students.
