A Guard Turn Out plus a Guard of Honour saluted the outgoing Commander, Security Force Headquarters-Central (SFHQ-C) Major General U.A.B Medawela on Thursday (22) at Rondow grounds at Diyatalawa. Major General U.A.B Medawela is to assume duties as the new Commander, Security Force Headquarters - West after relinquishing his appointment as the Commander SFHQ-C. Meanwhile, 11 Division Headquarters in Kandy presented a Guard Turnout to the outgoing Major General Medawela on Tuesday (20). Brigadier A.W.M.W.N Ranawana, General Officer Commanding, 11 Division welcomed Major General Medawela before he addressed a gathering of about 500 officers and other ranks. Brigadier Ranawana presented a memento to the outgoing SFHQ-C Commander at the same occasion.
