Security Forces Headquarters (Central) proudly celebrated the 5th anniversary and a series of programmes were launched with the participation and the direction of Major General G R H Dias USP ndc psc IG, the Commander Security Forces (Central).
In celebration of the anniversary, the flags were taken to the Dalanda Maligawa and Katharagama Devalaya to invoke blessings on 12 March 2018 and 13 March 2018 respectively. In addition, on 16 March 2018 a parade and Guard of Honour were awarded to the Commander Security Forces (Central) by 19 Sri Lanka National Guards at the Rendezvous Parade Ground. Afterwards the Commander planted a sapling of Sandalwood at the camp premises to mark the 5th anniversary. Following that an all rank group photograph was also taken.
The Commander Security Forces (Central) addressed the all ranks of the Headquarters and on the same day the Commander had lunch with them.
