SECURITY FORCES CENTRAL TROOPS CELEBRATED THE 72nd INDEPENDENCE DAY CEREMONIOUSLY.

With the instructions of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, events were organized at the Headquarters premises on 04 February 2020 in order to celebrate the 72nd Independence Day.

A tree planting programme was organized in parallel with the Independence Day celebrations with the participation of the Brigadier General Staff and the Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on the same day. Further, the National Flag and the Security Forces (Central) flag were hoisted and the National Anthem was also sung by all the Officers as well as the Other Ranks of Security Forces Headquarters (Central).
