Security Force Central proudly celebrated the 6th anniversary on 21 March 2019.In celebration of the anniversary a series of programmes were launched with the participation and the directions of Major General WRP De Silva USP ndu IG the Commander Security Force (Central).
On 19 March 2019 the troops contributed shramadana campaign under the aegis of the Commander Security Forces on simultaneously to the Anniversary Day programme at historical Garizon Church Diyatalawa and the Military Hospital Diyatalawa. .
Bodhi pooja held at Bodhikanda Temple on 20 March 2019 to get the blessing to the Security Force (Central). On 21 March The Commander Security Force (Central), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.9th battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment offered the Guard of Honour to the Commander. Further Commander participated for all rank lunch and addressed the troops. The evening musical show which was held at the Muthukumaru ground added more glamour to the day’s events. Concluding the celebrations the Commander and the other Senior Officers participated in the get together held at the Warrant Officers’ and Sergeant Mess as well as Corporals’ Club of Security Force headquarters (Central) on 22 March 2019.
