Major General A P De Z Wickramarathne RWP ndu psc, Commander, Security Force - Central after assumption of duties paid his formation visit to the 11 Division where he was warmly welcomed by the General Officer Commanding on 02 March 2016.
A Guard Turnout to be in line with military formalities presented by the troops of the 5 (Volunteer) Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) saluted the Commander at the Division Headquarters premises on arrival.
Subsequently, the visiting Commander planted a mango sapling to mark his visit to the 11 Division Headquarter and he addressed the gathering including Major General D S N K Senadheera, GOC at 11 Division, Brigade Commanders at 111 and 112 Brigade Headquarters, Commanding Officers, other officers and other rankers.
He later attended an all-rank tea arrangement before leaving the 11 Division Headquarters.
