SCHOOL CHILDREN AND NOVICE MONKS RECEIVE DONATIONS

Troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central) coordinated another donation program that benefitted a number school children and novice monks residing in Diyatalawa area, on 19 August 2023.

The donation program, conducted on the guidance of Commander Security Force (Central) Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, distributed stationery packs for the school children from the families of Civil Staff members serving at the headquarters. The program was sponsored by the 'Atha Hitha' Foundation formed by the old scholars of Unversity of Sri Jayawardenapura and old boys of Royal College Colombo. Founder of the 'Atha Hitha', Mr. Prasad Loku Balasooriya made his presence during the occasion held at the headquarters.

The 'Savi Samanera' 5th program organizers made a donation of dry ration pack worth of Rs 30000 to the novice monks at Kadurugoda Sri Atthadassi Monastry in Diyatalawa, on the same day. The troops at Diyatalawa coordinated the donation program held at the monastery premises

Brigadier General Staff, Senior Officers and troops of security force headquarters participated in the occasion
