Troops under 12 Infantry Division organized a special Poson Zone at Beliaththa area from 21 to 24 June 2024 to mark the Poson Poya Day.On 22 June 2024, the Army Cultural Dancing Group presented a cultural dance, including 'Bhakti Gee' performances. Additionally, the 5 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment troops conducted a Dansala programme, providing meals to over 7,000 devotees.
Major General C.S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, the General Officer Commanding of the 12 Infantry Division, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
