PAID TRIBUTE TO LIEUTENANT GENERAL DENZIL KOBBEKADUWE

The 26th death anniversary of late Lieutenant General Denzil Kobbekaduwe was held at the Denzil Kobbekaduwe Park in Kandy on 08 September 2018 at 1030 hours in remembrance of his dedicated service rendered for the motherland. The Mayor of Kandy, Kesara D Senanayake also participated in this commemorative function.

Further, the General Officer Commanding of 11 Division, Major General T J Nanayakkara RWP USP ndu along with senior officers of 11 Division paid the floral tribute at this occasion on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG. Moreover, one officer and 34 soldiers from 2 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR), relatives of Lieutenant General Kobbekaduwe and state workers also participated in the mentioned event to pay tribute.
