In conjunction with the 75th anniversary of the Army, the troop of 12 Infantry Division conducted a community oriented program at the Vadihitikanda Rajamaha Viharaya premises on 13 August 2024. to remove the garbage thrown by the devotees who come to worship the Esala full moon day. The cleaning up program was carried out under the guidance of Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc the GOC 12 Infantry Division.
The program was initiated in response to request from the chief incumbent of Wadihitikanda Rajamaha Viharaya, close supervising by 122 Infantry Brigade 20 SLSR, 12 GR and 3 SLNG of 100 troops were participated to this program.
