NEW HOME FOR NEEDY FAMILY AT RANAKELIYA

Major General PKWWMJSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division handed over a newly constructed house for a deserving family at Ranakeliya - Tissamaharamaya on 10 October 2024. The initiative was commenced in line with the 75 Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army and the financial support was generously provided by Mrs Chandrani Jayasooriya, while troops from 12 Gajaba Regiment extended their manpower and technical expertise for this community project.

Commander 122 Infantry Brigade provided much needed guidance for the project while Commanding Officer 12 Gajaba Regiment directed troops accordingly and assured the completion of the project with stipulated time.

The senior officers, officers, other ranks, members of the donor family, beneficiary family members and civilians were attended the inauguration. Before the culmination of the event the GOC posed for a group photograph with the beneficiary family and the invites.
