Major I L S D Nawarathne psc of Gemunu Watch assumed duties as the new General Staff Officer 2 (Operations) at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) at an auspicious time on 02 January 2020 at the office premises.
Major Nawarathne enlisted to the Sri Lanka Army on 10 March 2008 and he is an experienced officer who has discharged duties in many establishments as well as at higher headquarters. Officers and Other Ranks of the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) extended their wishes to the newly appointed GSO 2 (Ops).
