NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 11 DIV ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier S M S P B Samarakoon RWP RSP assumed duties as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 11 Division which is under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central) at an auspicious time on 03 September 2020. Brigadier Samarakoon is a well experienced senior officer who has discharged duties in many establishments as well as higher headquarters.

The troops of 10 Gajaba Regiment awarded a guard turnout to the new GOC. Afterwards, he addressed the all ranks of 11 Division and its under command Brigades, Units and Training Schools. Following that an All Rank Tea Party was also taken place.
