Major General PUS Vithanage RSP ndu, Commander Security Forces (Central) made his first formal visit to the 12 Division on 24 October 2016 after assuming duties as Commander, Security Forces (Central).
On arrival, the visiting Commander was honoured with a formal Guard Turnout and received by Major General G R H Dias USP ndu psc IG, General Officer Commanding, 12 Division.
Afterward Commander addressed the all ranks in the presence of Brigade Commanders of 121 and 122 Brigades, Commanding officers, senior officers and Other Rankers. Subsequently he paused for a group photograph and took part in an all rank tea party and he sighed the Visitors' Book in remembrance of his visit to 12 Division.
