MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO ARE TO BE RETIRED FROM THE ACTIVE SERVICE IN THE NEAR FUTURE WERE LECTURED

In accordance with a concept of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General L H S C Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, a lecture was conducted for the military personnel who are to be retired from the active service in the near future.

This timely lecture was organized by the Directorate of Veterans Affairs on 25 October 2019 at the Lecture Hall of Volunteer Force Training School (VFTS), Diyatalawa aiming to educate these military personnel on facing the challenges of civil life after the retirement in order to make them able to achieve their goals as they expect.This lecture was conducted by the GSO 2 at the Directorate of Veterans Affairs, Major T L S Rathnasekare RWP RSP. Moreover, eighty eight other ranks from Security Force Headquarters and its under command formations participated in this lecture with the instructions of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.
