A special charity programme was organized by the 12 Division of Security Forces (Central) under the direction and supervision of the Commander Security Forces (Central) Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP USP VSV ndu and according to a concept of the General Officer Commander of 12 Division, Major General P W D K Jayathilake USP ndu. The programme was successfully organized to donate 100 dry ration parcels (Sugar, Green gram, Gram, Dhal, Tea Powder, Coconut, and Chilly) to selected poverty stricken families in Weerahela Grama Niladari Division.
Moreover, this programme was held on 22 August 2019 at the Weerahela Primary School, Thissamaharama and this was sponsored by Mr S K Kandaraja of Kurunegala Sri Murugan Company. Senior Officers, Officers and few Other Ranks of 12 Division participated in this charity programme.
