A programme has been launched to eradicate dengue menace which rapidly spreads due to the weather condition prevailed in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central). Accordingly, shramadana campaigns were launched in all the responsible districts of Security Forces (Central) under the aegis of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG on 01 and 02 September 2018 by the troops of under command Divisions and Brigades.
During the campaign, the priority was accorded to the cleanliness as well as to destroy the Dengue Mosquito breeding places in schools located in the responsible districts. Therefore, the contribution of the military personnel for this social work was highly appreciated by the principals of the schools.
