Under the leadership of Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, Commander Security Forces Central and Major General WMNKD Bandara RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commander 12 Infantry Division and with the supervision of Brigadier MHSP Senaratne RSP, Commander 122 Infantry Brigade conduct book pack distribution ceremony at H/Sithuminiwela Primary School.
Through the generous full financial support of Dr. Jinanjala Shanika Wijayagunasekara and Mrs Asha Niroshani Lokuwithana 43 book packs and sound system were donated to students of H/Sithuminiwela Primary School under the coordination of armed forces personnel.
The programme took place at the main hall of Sithuminiwela primary school with colourful entertainment items by students and highlighted the armed forces’ ongoing commitment to social welfare and support for vulnerable communities.
