Military assistance has been given to clear the Nuwara Eliya – Hatton main road which totally obstructed due to fallen of a tree on 09 July 2020. The affected area is located in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central).
In accordance with the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Central), prompt actions have been taken by the Commanding Officer and the troops of 3 Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment to clear the road. Accordingly, two officers and fifteen soldiers of 3SLSR removed the tree with the support of estate labours as well as the Road development Authority in order to facilitate the transportation of the area.
