MAJOR GENERAL SAMANTHA SILVA ASSUMES DUTIES AS THE COMMANDER SECURITY FORCE (CENTRAL)

Giving prominence to religious observances, Major General M K S Silva RWP RSP ndu assumed the Office as the Commander Security Forces (Central) at an auspicious time scheduled on 04 October 2021. All the senior officers, officers and other ranks of Security Force Headquarters (Central) and GOCs, Bde Comds and Commanding Officers of under command Divisions, Brigades and Battalions welcomed the new Commander. The customary guard turnout and guard of honour were accorded by the troops of 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. The new Commander planted a Na sapling at the camp premises marking his assumption of duties and participated for the officers address.
