MAJOR GENERAL KAU KODITHUWAKKU RSP USP psc IG ASSUMES DUTIES AS THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 11 INFANTRY DIVISION

Major General KAU Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG of SL Artillery Regiment assumed office as the new General Officer Commanding 11 Infantry Division on 06 September 2024 amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the 11 Infantry division headquarters in Pa1lekele.

The day proceedings commenced with guard turnout presented to the new GOC at the main entrance on his arrival. Subsequently he was invited to review the guard of honor presented by 10 Gajaba Infantry Regiment. Afterwards the newly appointed GOC left his signature in an official document signifying the acceptance of his new office amidst chatting of Seth pirith by members of the maha sangha. Thereafter newly appointed GOC posed for group photograph with all officers and attended for a formal all ranks tea with Brigade Commander٫ Commanding Officers٫ Staff Officers and Other Rankers of 11 Infantry Division
