Orientation programmes for 50 000 graduates recruited to public sector were commenced on 14 September 2020 island-wide. In parallel with this ‘Saubhagyaye Dekma’ programme which is conducted under the direction of HE the President, the training establishments of Security Forces (Central) commenced the orientation training programmes under the supervision of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General W D C K Costa RSP USP. Accordingly, these programmes were successfully concluded and the closing address as well as the awarding of certificates also was conducted on 03 October 2020 at the respective training schools with the participation of the Commander Security Forces (Central).
Intending to uplift the leadership qualities, confidence, knowledge, skills as well as attitudes to achieve the objectives of the nation through energetic and effective work force, these training programmes were designed and conducted by the military personnel. Moreover, Senior Officers, Officers and Instructors of the under command training schools participated in the closing ceremony.
