Dry ration, sanitary and essential medical items were distributed among landslide-hit people in Rammalaka, Dolosbage and Patitalawa on 21 May 2016.
The programme was presided by Major General A P de Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Central) intending to take stocks at ground level and supervise ongoing Army rescue and relief operations in Rammalaka area in Pilimatalawa and Patitalawa in Dolosbage, worst-hit areas within the Area of Responsibility of the SF HQ (Central).
The donation programme was organized with the coordination of Major General DSNK Senadeera WWV RWP RSP USP ndu, General Officer Commanding 11 Division of SF HQ (Central) and the programme was sponsored by Senok Group of Companies. The Managing Director, Mr Mano Selvanayagam and Mariya Selvanayagam and the Director Human Recourse, Stemoses Lickoshan Fernando of the company attended the event. 144 displaced families received items worth of over Rs. 100000.00
