HEAVY RAINS LASH THE CIVIL LIVES.

Due to heavy rains prevailing in the responsible area of Security Forces (Central) the troops from under command formations have already been deployed for evacuations and relief operations. Consequently, five officers and fifty one soldiers from 3( V) Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment and 1 Sri Lanka Rifle Corps were deployed in Walapane, Padiyapelela, Malpottawala and Buluela in Kandy on 30 November 2019 where landslides and flood situations occurred.
