The new General Officer Commander of 12 Division Major General A L P S Thilakarathne RWP RSP USP psc made his first official visit to the 121 Brigade on 03 January 2020 after assuming the office as the GOC.
The Brigade Commander of 121 Brigade, Brigadier N C Somaweera RWP RSP USP extended a warm welcome to the visiting Commander and he was honoured with a Guard Turnout by the troops of 18th Battalion the Gemunu Watch. Further, he planted a tree sapling in the camp premises marking his visit to the 121 Brigade. In addition, the GOC address the troops of 121 Brigade, 18th Battalion the Gemunu Watch as well as the 9 Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment. Following that the commander participated in an all rank tea and concluding the visit commander signed the visitors’ book as well.
