Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army, a discussion was held with the farmers engaged in agricultural process in Diyathalawa area in order to encourage them in agricultural process. This discussion was presided by Brigadier (Coord) Brigadier DCCDR Waidyasekera RSP, the head of Green Agriculture project at the Security Forces Headquarters (SFHQ) on 17 February 2022.
Accordingly, the discussion was held with the farmers of the "Parakum Farmers' Organization" established under the direct guidance of the Security Forces Headquarters to identify the problems encountered by the farmers while engage organic farming.
In this occasion, in order to conduct proper functioning of agricultural process, radish seeds packets were distributed among each farming family.
