DESERVING FAMILIES RECEIVE MILK POWDER PACKS

Troops under Security Force (Central) coordinated and organized a program to distribute Milk Powder packets to 200 low-income families belong to all nationalities residing in Uva Province on Tuesday, 28 June 2022 at the premises of Nissanka National School, Badalkumbura.

On the invitation extended by Major General Samantha Silva RWP RSP ndu, Commander Security Force (Central), Mr Nimal Gamage the Managing Director of Fonterra Brands Lanka made sponsorship for the dairy nutrition packs which were distributed among needy families undergoing economic hardships. Troops of 7 Sri Lanka Signal Corps arranged the necessary initiatives to conduct the community-oriented welfare program.

Commander Security Force (Central), Senior Army Officers, Officer In-charge Badalkumbura Police Station, Health Sector Officers, Principal of Nissanka National School, beneficiaries and Troops participated in the event.
