The Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP VSV USP ndu made an official visit to the 8th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 21 October 2019.
During this official visit the Commander inspected the buildings which are being constructed as well as the proposed buildings which are to be constructed in the unit premises. Further, the visiting Commander looked into the requirements which are needed to uplift the standard of the Unit. Following that, the Commander participated in an all rank tea and also planted a Na tree sapling in the camp premises marking his visit to the Unit.
